The high value care initiative was started by the American College of Physicians (ACP) in 2010 to increase awareness of unsustainable national health care costs and to help practicing physicians simultaneously reduce waste and improve the quality of care they provide to patients. The lecture will introduce a novel case based curriculum to encourage open discussion of these important issues. The content will be a mixture of clinical and basic knowledge.
